One platformThe NIPO Fieldwork System supports CATI and Web equally. The authoring tool is the same for CATI, Web (and, in fact, CAPI) – and you only need one script , with no alterations , to run interviews in the mode of your choice. With a standard set of tools, and all your data stored in one system, you become more operationally efficient.

You are able to switch from a CATI interview to an online interview with a push of a button. You only need to create one survey script, and the system will automatically detect the right channel. And you may even find that if your respondents have this choice, your response rates go up, and you are able to conduct surveys that would not have been possible in any other way.

AffordableThe NIPO Fieldwork System will not eat into either your IT or your operations budgets. The license costs are realistic and the software is designed to protect your bottom line. Our hardware requirements are so modest that you could run your Web interviewing on a very low spec server, and equally your CATI operations only need a very small hardware footprint. And you can almost always use your existing PBX and dialer hardware, so there’s no need to go to the expense of changing them. You can even run multiple call centres on one infrastructure, making a large saving in software licensing and hardware costs, while still maintaining local call costs.

CATI interviewers can work from home (without any loss of software functionality) making your company more flexible to peaks and troughs in demand and more attractive as an employer. This way you will be able to maintain control of all your interviewers across the globe and still benefit from having the operational costs of a large call centre.

The scripting environment is stable and very efficient, even with highly complex projects. For example, it will handle extensive event-driven surveys that take over one hour to complete and that use very complex filters to ask only the questions that are relevant to specific respondents.

Questionnaires can be highly sophisticated. You can include models and calculations in the script that run during the interview. This will, for example, calculate a customer type score based on the answers to several questions and devise a routing based on the score rather than answers to individual questions. This functionality can also be used to automatically clean, calculate and weight data during the interview. In this way, a pre-processed data file is delivered directly from the interview system and this may even cut out DP from the process. This delivers a truly automated data flow from collection to reporting.

GlobalWorking on the same project in different countries is more efficient with the NIPO Fieldwork System because of the way you run all your CATI operations on one infrastructure. Project and sample management is controlled centrally, but local call centres conduct the interviews. Our software supports all languages, no matter which character set it uses or the direction of its writing.

Our web servers can be easily scaled to handle thousands of simultaneous interviews using standard load balancers
