Nipo Software

Jeroen started his NIPO Software career in 1996 and over the years grew from Sales Consultant to Managing Director. During his years at NIPO Software Jeroen has been the primary contact for many of our customers, thus building a vast knowledge on how the MR industry works and creating a thorough understanding of the needs of research companies.

Jeroen says: I particularly appreciate the strong and close relationship that we have with our customers. It is NIPO Software's mission to bring success to our customers. We do this by creating highly innovative software that performs to the highest standards, exclusively for the professional market research industry.

Doris joined the NIPO Software Hong Kong Helpdesk in 2009. Doris is not only an advocate for our Asian customers, she is also responsible for sales in Asia Pacific region. Before coming to NIPO Software Doris worked as a consultant for Disney.

Doris says: I enjoy keeping people happy and satisfied. Over a number of years, working as consultant for system implementation and Integration, seeing the smiles from customers (or a smiley face emoticon in emails) are my motivation to continue to do my best. I am is proud of having the best team working closely from three locations in different time zones to give the most extensive consultancy and support to customers.

Frank has been working at NIPO Software since 2001. Frank started as systems consultant at the NIPO Software Helpdesk, where he visited many of our customers. Before that, he worked for an IT consultancy in the financial sector. In 2007 Frank spent a year in South America to setup the Buenos Aires NIPO Software Helpdesk Office. When he returned, he joined the Product Management team where he is responsible for defining the future or our product suites.

Frank says: I especially like the down to earth and practical manner with which we at NIPO Software conduct our business, resulting in solutions that really make a difference in the day-to-day operations of our customers.

Deniz graduated in Communication Design in 2003 and continued his career as a multimedia content designer until he joined TNS Global Istanbul as a Data Processing Specialist. Having become more involved with NIPO Software applications and the staff as a result of frequent contact between the two companies, he joined NIPO Software as a System Consultant based in Amsterdam.

Deniz says: Sharing knowledge and helping people to solve their issues to establish a safe and quality environment for research is overwhelming what NIPO Software has to offer to both me and its customers.

Bjorn has over twelve years' experience in the software development business. He started out by providing technical support on Rogue Wave software cross platform C++ libraries. After five years he moved on to NIPO Software as a full time software engineer responsible for its questionnaire creation environment. Now a team leader/architect he is responsible for the overall architecture of the NIPO Software products.

Björn says: What I enjoy most is the challenge of structuring software in such a way that it is future-proof and can easily be adapted to customer wishes. That is exactly what I am doing now for the new data collection platform that we are creating.

Marijn joined NIPO Software after graduating in Informatics in 1998. He has worked mainly on our fieldwork management systems and this has made him a specialist in that area. He has also been keeping his knowledge up-to-date by studying for Microsoft Certified IT Professional qualifications

Marijn says: Even after twelve years I still enjoy working for NIPO Software. Improving software is what I like most of all!

Hans is installer and trainer for the entire range of NIPO Software products. For NIPO Software he has installed systems in over 90 organisations in 34 countries. He had gained many years of experience in scripting before joining the NIPO Software team and enjoys sharing this knowledge with as many others as possible. When in the office in Amsterdam Hans is always happy to help you with any system or scripting related issues.

Sjoerd has worked for almost ten years in market research. He has experienced the operational part of the business, and has visited many market research companies around the globe for NIPO Software. During his visits Sjoerd has gained an intimate knowledge of the scope and diversity of the needs of market research companies. He uses this experience in shaping the next generation of data collection software.

Sjoerd says: The value of good data collection software is frequently underestimated. Too often market research software is regarded as a commodity. What market research companies should really look for is what specific value and potential cost savings a software product brings. If they would do that more, they would see that there are truly very big differences between what is being offered in the market. I love being able to shape our software to increase the value it can add to our customers’ businesses.

Rosie Pool, Management Assistant, was at NIPO Software at the very start. She worked with Arnoud van Zanten, the founding father of NIPO Software and the brains behind many of its original systems.

Rosie says: Over the years I have concluded that we are really good communicators: easy to approach, willing to negotiate, trying to give the best advice, not only looking at the business but also, if possible, at the human point of view. I doubt if there is any company like ours where we all, clients and staff, have the opportunity to communicate with each other without any restrictions. I look forward to keeping it this way for many years to come.

Írfan started in 2001. Besides providing organisations with complete software solutions, NIPO Software also supplies hosting facilities for clients that either do not have their own CAWI environment or are interested in trying it out before acquiring one. Írfan makes sure these hosted projects run very smoothly.

Írfan says: But perhaps the most fun part of the job is messing around with html and css to make sure the look and feel of each survey exactly matches our clients' websites. I have replicated websites from all over the world, from Ireland to South Africa, the US to the UAE and Japan.
